Wrestling singlet - there motivation to get in shape right there. I remember Charles Staley saying the same thing when he first started doing Oly meets.

Another big session and congrats on that PR (?).

Thanks Colin. No hiding the dietary indiscretions when you are in a singlet, that's for sure. The 180lbs C&P is almost certainly a PR. I was approaching this level of strength a few years ago, but didn't keep great records and thus am not 100% sure. Either way I am dangerously close to Rippetoe's "elite" standard for the press. For a 165lbs man a 186lbs press is elite, so that should fall within a few weeks. I plan to hit 185 on March 1st and 190 sometime after my April 18 meet.

Yuck. I was a "mat-mate" for a couple years in highschool (I kept the book and fed the boys) and I think there should be laws about body fat percentages and wrestling singlets. Ick.

Haha - poor Annie. Overhere what you find is that the only girls who wear leggings are the ones who really should staying indoors.

I've seen a few videos from powerlifting meets in N Ireland. I think I could go un-noticed even at my present body comp.

There's a dvd out about Powerlifting called "Power Unlimited" - seen it yet Martin?
