Thanks Colin. Mind you it is two handed. Sorry for not answering your question the other day. I have been crazy busy the past several days and just never got to it. On the 5x5 squats the idea is to start conservative and add 10lbs a week until I can no longer get all 25 reps. I set the countdown timer for 3 minutes, and a set usually takes 30-45 seconds, so I get the rest of the time as rest. When I can't get all the reps I just won't move the weight up until I get them all. Sorry for the late reply.
No worries - I was asking as I've thrown a few sets of triples into my training. Was wondering how I was going to play it with rest/progression/intensity. Overthinking it probably.
