Ran 8x200m on the track, starting a new effort every 2:30. These were all consistent at about :35, so I was getting about 1:55 recovery between efforts.

Hey man - how's the shoulder healing?
Funny that it's forcing(?) you to do a lot of track work right when I've been thinking about sprinting and sprint intervals.
8 x 200 is a draining workout - how's your sprinting? Bet you're quite fast with a near 2 x BW deadlift.
Sorry I do you a disservice - it should have of course read 2.5 x BW :)
Still taking it easy on the shoulder. Yesterday it was a little tender because I helped this bum who had fallen off his bike and I had to lift him at a really awkward angle. He has one leg that is all shriveled up and basically useless, and when he fell he got all tangled up in his bike and couldn't get up.
Anyway, yeah the sprints went pretty well. I was pleased that the efforts were very consistent throughout, because I held back just a bit at first and the last 5 or 6 efforts were all ragged edge exertions, so it was a good pace. There was nothing fun about it though, 8x200 is very tough, and I've never been a real speedster. My best distance is probably 3200m.
