That's good going - hows the back feel after all those 32s?!!
I'm been thinking about extending my KB sessions out to maybe 25-30 mins. Longer duration higher volume with lower intensity obviously. What you reckon?
Wish that test would hurry up and swing around, I want to see you unleashed!!
Back was a little stiff after so much vloume with the 32kg. Personally I like to mix it up with the duration of my conditioning sessions. I can really smoke myself in 10 minutes and still walk the next day, while going hard for over 20 minutes can leave me stiff until the next time I shake things out a bit. I try to keep the bulk of my sessions under 20 minutes, although sometimes a workout can surprise me with how brutal it is.
Next time I play with the KBs I am thinking of doing 2x24kg front squats paired with 32kg swings for 25/5, 20/10, 15/15, 10/20 and 5/25 rep rounds. I am hoping to complete that in 15 minutes or less, but I thought I could complete last night's in 2025 minutes and I never even finished.
Were the squat bodyweight?
Yes, they are bwt squats. I will (usually) be specific if weights are involved.
